Opnet Simulation Tool for Device to Device communication:

D2D communications is about enabling the direct flow of data between devices. In contrast to Human-to-Human (H2H) communications, D2D communications do not require human interaction.

Just as basketball analysts looked at player stats, network engineers evaluated various parameters and configurations to keep their networks running smoothly.

  • Direct relaying with operator controlled link establishment (DR-OC)
  • Direct D2D communication with device controlled link establishment (DC-DC)
  • Device relaying with device controlled link establishment (DR-DC)
  • Direct D2D communication with operator controlled link establishment (DR-DC)
